Omexom pulling them in at Women in Trades expo
Omexom New Zealand was again a proud sponsor of the Women in Trade expo held 9 April at the Vector Events Centre in South Auckland.
Our team of ten field and operational staff were busy with the enthusiastic crowd of young women curious about opportunities in New Zealand’s electricity supply industry.
Our table was swamped by girls seeking information about the company, the industry and the components set out on the table. They wanted to know what our female staff members did, how their work conditions were like and what challenges they’d overcome in the industry.
Outside, our lift truck and female field staff also attracted attention, with many school girls awed by the knowledge and skills of our women in Omexom. This video shows how busy our booth was and the keen curiosity of the many visitors.
