Omexom celebrates VINCI Environment Day

Every year, Omexom New Zealand celebrates VINCI Environment Day along with the various entities within the VINCI ecosystem.  This is a day where we take the opportunity to gather around environmental topics, raise awareness and take action in our business!

In the past, we’ve organised climate and sustainability seminars, environmental awareness workshops, tree planting, and more recently, the VINCI Group has launched the Environmental Awards which spotlight and encourage innovations within the group of companies that make an environmental impact.

An example is our ‘Solar Chariot’ – a portable solar generator and battery bank that supplies energy to work sites in place of fossil fuel generators, saving not only money but cutting carbon emissions and reducing waste by recycling or re-using materials.
