Omexom New Zealand’s EDP 2024 concludes with a bang

Some years ago, Omexom New Zealand designed a management development programme, known as the Employee Development Programme (EDP), in conjunction with external consultants, to meet the development needs of employees who deliver high levels of performance and demonstrate that they have the potential to develop within the company.

This year’s programme, starting in March and finishing in September, was the 20th programme held at Omexom since its successful introduction in 2002.

Each year, participants from Omexom Australia join their New Zealand counterparts in this six-month development journey.

Our 2024 participants will return for a follow up workshop next year, to share their leadership experiences and benefit from new material delivered to them.

Congratulations to the 2024 EDP group, for their commitment and hard work in the programme and for delivering outstanding personal presentations to the senior managers on the final day of the programme.

Another project was Baywater Marina, where we worked with the local board and community police to improve safety and security.

Says a local board member, “Kia ora Omexom, your effort has had a massive impact.  Coupled with a lockable gate on the AT Park & Ride area, I’ve had no recorded incidents of anti-social behaviour.”

“Collectively, I think we’ve made a huge difference to the safety and well-being of local business owners and nearby neighbours.”
