Omexom saves space whilst reusing old desks and IT equipment

Anybody who has visited GSP’s premises at 17A Airborne knows it’s a bit tight on space. The team came up with the idea to put some dead space in the Tipu meeting room to good use, and reuse a number of redundant/damaged collapsible tables that would have otherwise been destined for the skip.

The tabletops, removed from the broken legs, were cut down to fit the space. Discarded parts were placed in the correct recycling bin.

Second hand screens, keyboards, mice and docking stations were then installed. Once chairs are sourced, the once wasted space will be open for business as a study/quiet area.

It is a simple effective solution enabling good use of space, reusing and recycling material, whilst giving old IT equipment a new lease on life, instead of collecting dust in a forgotten cupboard somewhere!
