Omexom scouting for the next generation out west

Omexom New Zealand made a strong showing at the recent Careers Out West Expo, held at The Trust Arena.  Representing Omexom were two of our trainee line mechanics, a trade coach and two from our HR team, who were there to provide insights into career opportunities within the company.

The event, designed to connect students with potential employers, saw attendance of 1,906 students from several schools, including Massey High School, Waitākere College, St. Dom’s, Lynfield College, Green Bay High School, Michael Park School, Rutherford College, Kelston Girls College, and Liston College.  These students explored various career paths and opportunities available in the industry.

Our team engaged with the students, sharing their experiences and offering guidance on pursuing a career in the energy supply sector.  With hands-on demonstrations and informative discussions, our staff showcased the dynamic and rewarding career paths available at Omexom.  The event was a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable insights, and for Omexom to connect with the next generation of talent.
