Omexom @ Watercare AUR launch

There were smiles all around, as representatives from 19 contractors and consultants, including Omexom New Zealand, gathered for a warm welcome and shared a meal to mark the commencement of Watercare’s ambitious $3.5 billion Asset Upgrade and Renewals Programme.

Following a thorough three-month selection process, Watercare announced the companies that have entered into a committed partnership with the water infrastructure services provider.

Our IFP team were at the recent gathering at Watercare’s Newmarket office, which provided an excellent opportunity to recognise our success and establish strong relationships going forward.

Omexom will assist Watercare in tackling the first phase of a decade-long initiative, aimed at replacing aging water and wastewater infrastructure, as well as upgrading pump stations and treatment facilities.

This collaborative approach ensures we have a clear understanding of forthcoming projects, and empowers us to deliver upgrades and renewals more efficiently, in terms of both cost and time.

With our work assignments to be finalised soon, Omexom will begin with a focus on efficient delivery, and enhancing safety and quality standards.

We are are thrilled to partner with Watercare and eagerly await the commencement of work, all of which will ultimately benefit the Auckland community.
